Specificity The Histone H3K9ac Ab-conjugated Beads contain Luminex? magnetic microspheres that have been conjugated with antibodies directed against Histone H3K9ac.
Characteristics Histone H3 PTM Multiplex Assay is a novel high throughput bead-based ELISA assay designed for use with the MAGPIX?, Luminex? 200? or FLEXMAP 3D? instruments to enable simultaneous interrogation of the levels of multiple histone H3 PTMs within the same sample. The 3-hour assay is ideally suited for high-throughput screening and profiling of histone modification levels of clinical or compound-treated samples. The multiplexing ability means you can simultaneously screen for on-target and off-target effects within the same sample. This kit offers several advantages over traditional methods (e.g. Western Blotting) including faster turnaround times and the ability to utilize smaller sample amounts.

Follow the recommendations in the Histone H3 PTM Multiplex Kit manual for the preparation and use of the antibody-conjugated bead set. Each analyte specific antibody-conjugated bead contains its own unique fluorescent label allowing the user to distinguish different bead sets within a single sample for multiplex experiments. The beads can be read and identified using a Luminex 200?, MAGPIX? or FLEXMAP 3D? instrument and xPONENT? software. The associated bead region for the Histone H3K9ac Ab-conjugated bead set is #12. The recommended detection limit for this bead set is: Acid extracts - use greater than 16 ng per well of sample Purified histones - use greater than 2 ng per well of sample
