Background

Inhibitor of prostacyclin synthase1, monoamine oxidase inhibitor. Also an inhibitor of LSD1, a histone H3 demethylase (IC50>2uM). Treatment of P19 embryonal carcinoma cells with tranylcypromine resulted in global increase in H3K4 methylation.
